FAQ

Your first tournament, start to finish

1. Making an account
Sign up with your email and pick a blader name. That name is you everywhere on Stadium305: brackets, rankings and your profile, so pick one you'd be happy to hear called out at an event. You can look around without an account, but you need one to compete.
2. Getting a Stadium Pass
A Stadium Pass is your entry to one tournament. Buy them on the Stadium Pass page. They don't expire, so grabbing a few ahead of time is fine, and you can send one to a friend.
3. Registering for an event
Find an event under Tournaments and tap Register. One pass is used and you're in. No pass yet? You can get one right there and carry on. If the event is full you can't register, and your pass stays with you.
4. Checking in on the day
When you arrive, find the host and let them know you're there. They check you in, and your Home screen shows it. Don't skip this: when the host closes check-in to start, anyone not checked in is taken off the event and gets their pass back. There's no joining after that.
5. Free play and rival matches
Free play happens around the tournament: before it starts, and again later in the day once the top cut is set. It's where you can call out another blader for a rival match using a Rival Match Pass (you get one free every month). Another blader judges it, the result goes on your record, and it never touches the tournament standings. You'll see what's on the line before you accept.
6. Competing in the Swiss rounds
Nobody gets knocked out in Swiss. You play every round, against someone doing about as well as you are. If there's an odd number of bladers, someone sits a round out and it gets evened up. Another blader judges each match.
7. Making the top cut
After Swiss, the bladers with the best records move on, usually the top 4 or top 8. From there it's win or go home, with a 3rd place match for the two who fall in the semifinals. A tie for the last spot is settled with a battle.
8. Getting your Stadium Tokens
Shortly after the last match is scored, Stadium Tokens land in everyone's wallet on their own. Everyone who competed gets some, the top finishers get more, and the host and judges are rewarded for running the event. Scores show on the live bracket as they're entered, so if one looks wrong, tell the host right then.
9. Reviewing the results
The event page keeps the bracket, every match and the final standings, so you can always go back and look. Rival matches from that day show on your own profile.
10. Tracking your progress
Your profile keeps your score, your record and how you win your battles, and the Ranks page shows where you stand. Every blader's profile is public, so you can scout whoever you're about to face.

Getting started

What is Stadium305?
A home for Beyblade X bladers, in South Florida and beyond. Find and enter tournaments, track your record, call out rivals, earn tokens and shop for gear, all in one place.
Do I need an account?
Not to look around. You do need one to enter an event, hold passes or play rival matches.
What emails will Stadium305 send me?
The ones you'd expect: sign-in codes, registrations, orders, shipping and prizes. We may also send news and upcoming events. You can switch those off under My Account, Email preferences, or email info@stadium305.com.
How do I enter my first tournament?
Open an event under Tournaments and tap Register. Entry is one Stadium Pass. If you don't have one, you'll be walked through getting it.

Tournaments

How do I find tournaments?
Head to the Tournaments page. Upcoming shows what's coming, My tournaments shows what you're in and where you've been, and Past has everything else. You can search by name, city, venue or host.
What counts as an upcoming tournament?
Anything still ahead of you. An event happening tonight stays listed all day, so it doesn't disappear while you're on your way.
What formats do you run?
305 Swiss and WBO Swiss. The day runs the same way in both; only the shape of a single match changes. The event page tells you which one it is. More on both below.
What is checking in?
It's the host confirming you're actually there before the bracket is made, so nobody gets paired against an empty chair. Your Home screen shows whether you're checked in.
What happens if an event is full?
You can't register, and your pass stays with you. There's no waitlist. If someone drops out, the spot opens for whoever grabs it first.
What if a tournament is cancelled?
Your Stadium Pass comes straight back to you, and you'll see the host's reason.
Where do I see results?
On the event's page. The bracket, the battles and the final placements stay there for good.
Do I need to refresh the live bracket?
No. It updates by itself as scores come in and new rounds start.

Stadium Passes

What is a Stadium Pass?
Your tournament ticket. One pass gets you into any one tournament, and you choose which when you register.
How do I get one?
Buy them on the Stadium Pass page, one or several at a time. A friend can also send you one.
Do Stadium Passes expire?
No. A pass waits for you until you use it.
Can I pay my entry in person at the event?
At some events, yes. Find a Stadium305 admin and pay in cash or by tapping your card or phone. You'll need an account first, and they'll register you on the spot. After that, everything works the same as any other entry.
Do I get my pass back if I can't attend?
Yes, if the host cancels the event or you aren't checked in when it starts. Your pass comes back on its own. For anything else, email info@stadium305.com before the event and we'll talk. Leaving partway through an event you've started doesn't get the pass back.

Free play & rival matches

What is free play?
Open battling around a tournament. It runs before the event starts and again once the top cut is set, for bladers who are no longer in the bracket. While you're still competing in the bracket, you sit rival matches out.
How do I take part?
Get checked in and you're in automatically. If you weren't checked in, open the event's free play page and tap Join free play. You can take yourself off the list there too if you'd rather not be challenged.
What is a rival match?
An official one-on-one against another blader during free play. It's judged, it's recorded and it counts.
How do I challenge someone, and how will I know I've been challenged?
During free play, tap Challenge your Rival, pick who you're calling out and pick a judge. If someone calls you out, you'll get an email, an alert pops up while you have Stadium305 open, and it waits for you on Home with Accept and Decline. You can switch those alerts off on the Rival Matches page.
Do rival matches affect tournament standings?
No, never. They count toward your own record, score and rating, but a bracket is a bracket.
What is a Rival Match Pass?
What you use to call someone out. Everyone gets one free at the start of each month. If you're out, you can pick one up with Stadium Tokens (600 right now), a few times a month at most. You hold one at a time.
Do Rival Match Passes expire?
Yes, at the end of the month, free or bought. Win your match and you keep the pass to use again.
What if my rival match isn't finished when the tournament starts?
The bracket gives rival matches a few minutes of grace, then gets going. Your match can be picked back up in the later free play. If it never gets fought, it simply doesn't count, and nobody loses a pass.

Stadium Tokens

What are Stadium Tokens?
Rewards you earn by showing up and competing. Everyone who plays earns some, top finishers earn more, and hosts and judges earn them for running the event. Spend them in the shop or on Rival Match Passes.
What are tokens worth?
They're rewards, not money. Tokens have no cash value, can't be traded for cash, and can only be spent on Stadium305.
Where can I see my token history?
On the Tokens page: your balance and everything you've earned and spent.
My balance, the store or my scores showed empty for a second. Did I lose anything?
No. Everything is kept safe on our side. If a screen can't load, it tries again, and you'll see a Try again button if it still can't connect.

StadiumFX battle clips

What is StadiumFX?
Our clip maker. It turns a video of your battle into a highlight with effects on each Bey, hits on the clashes and a big call on the finish. Find it under StadiumFX in the menu once you're signed in.
How do I make a clip?
Bring in a battle video, tap each Bey once so StadiumFX knows which is which, and it follows them from there. If it loses one, tap that Bey again and it corrects. Then mark the clashes and the finish, add text or sounds if you like, trim it, choose your effects, and export. You can stop the effects when the battle is over and start them again for the next round.
Where are my edits and videos kept?
Your video stays on your device while you edit, and your edits save to your account so you can come back to them. On a different device you'll be asked for the original video again. Keep the tab open while a clip is being made. Nothing is posted unless you choose to post it.
Can I show my clips on my blader profile?
Yes. Post a clip to the Stadium Floor or keep it just for you. Public clips show on your profile, and you can feature your three favourites at the top. Manage everything under StadiumFX, My clips.
How do I add text and sound effects?
Go to the moment you want and tap Text or SFX. Pick a style or a sound, place it, and you're done. Your battle's own audio stays in.
Which browsers work?
An up-to-date Chrome, Edge or Safari works best, on phone or computer. Older or less common browsers may be slower. If a clip is taking a while, try a lower quality setting.
What are the reactions under clips and photos?
Our version of likes, with a Beyblade twist: XTREME!, BURSTED! and friends, plus emoji. Tap one to react and tap again to take it back.
How do comments work?
Comments are built from ready-made pieces instead of typed, so the Stadium Floor stays friendly for everyone. Tap a few pieces together and send. You can turn comments off on your own posts.
What is the Stadium Floor?
The community feed of battle clips and photos. See everyone, the bladers you follow, bladers near you, or posts from events you entered.
How do I post a video or one of my clips to the Stadium Floor?
Tap Share a post on the Stadium Floor and choose a photo, a video from your device (up to 3 minutes), or one of your saved clips. You're always asked before anything goes public.
Can other bladers download my videos?
No. Your videos play without a download option for everyone else. Bladers tagged in a clip can save their copy. As on any site, nothing can stop someone recording their own screen.
How do I post a photo?
Tap Share a post and pick Photo, or post from the Photos section of your profile. Add a caption, and link it to a tournament or one of your combos if you like. Location details are removed from photos before they're posted.
What are Run it back and answer clips?
Run it back calls a blader out for a rematch straight from a clip. If they're in, you settle it as a rival match at the next free play. You can also answer any clip with one of your own.
How do I share my Blader Card or Season Wrapped?
Tap the share icon at the top of a blader profile. The Blader Card is a snapshot of a blader's record and best finishes. Wrapped sums up the current quarter. Both are made to share or save.

Battle clips

Someone tagged me in a battle clip. What do I do?
You'll see it in your notifications on Home. Watch it, then confirm it's you or decline. Nothing goes on your profile until you confirm. Official clips from a host or from Stadium305 don't need confirming, and you can remove yourself from those any time.
Can I take myself off a battle clip I already confirmed?
Yes. Find it under Tagged battles on your profile and tap Remove me from this clip. You won't be tagged on that clip again.
Where can I watch a blader's battles?
On their profile, with their favourites up top and the rest under All battles. Tournament pages show clips from that event, live during it and as highlights afterwards.
How do I report a clip, photo or comment?
Open the menu on the post, or tap the flag next to a comment, and choose Report. A real person on our team looks at every report, and things that draw several reports are hidden while we check.
I'm a parent. How do I see what my kid posts and receives?
Open My Activity from the account menu. It shows everything the account has posted, the comments it has sent and received, and the clips it's tagged in. Comments are built from ready-made pieces and are never typed, you can turn them off on any post, and there are no private messages on Stadium305.

Formats & how Swiss works

How does the Swiss system work?
Nobody is knocked out. Everyone plays every round, and after each one you're matched with someone on a similar record. A few rounds in, the standings sort themselves out without anyone going home after one bad match.
How many rounds will there be?
Usually four to six, depending on how many bladers show up. The host makes the call.
What happens if there's an odd number of bladers?
Someone sits a round out, and it's shared around so it isn't always the same blader. It doesn't count for or against you, and it's evened up so everyone finishes on the same number of matches.
How do I qualify for the top cut?
Win matches and score points. When Swiss ends, the bladers at the top move on, usually four, or eight at bigger events. If bladers are level for the last spot, they battle for it.
Is there a 3rd place match?
Yes. The two bladers who lose in the semifinals play for 3rd.
What is 305 Swiss?
Our house format. Each match is one game, first to 5 points, with no penalty points. Top cut matches are first to 7.
What is WBO Swiss?
The World Beyblade Organization ruleset. Each match is best of 3 sets, each set is first to 4 points, and launch errors can give your opponent a point. Top cut matches are first to 7.
What's the practical difference between the two?
305 is quicker and more forgiving. WBO is longer and punishes sloppy launches. The rest of the day runs the same, and both count toward your record equally.

Skill Rating

What is Skill Rating, and how is it different from Blader Score?
You have both, and they answer different questions. Blader Score grows the more you play. Skill Rating is about how strong you are, however often you show up. One rewards turning up, the other rewards winning.
How does the rating work?
Everyone starts in the same place. Win and it goes up, lose and it goes down, and who you played matters. Beating a stronger blader is worth a lot. Beating a much weaker one is worth very little.
Why does my rating jump around so much at first?
Because we're still getting to know you. Early on your rating moves in big steps to find your level quickly, then it settles as you play more.
What does the ± number next to my rating mean?
It's how sure we are about your rating. A small number means it's settled, a big one means we're still working you out. Tap the (i) next to any rating for more.
What does 'provisional' mean?
You haven't played enough rated matches yet for your rating to be trusted. You can see it on your own profile, and you'll join the public rating board once it settles.
Does my rating drop if I stop playing?
No. You're never punished for missing events. After a long break your first few results just move you a little more than usual.
How does rating affect tournament pairings?
It helps set up the first round, so the strongest bladers in the room don't run into each other right away. After that, pairings go by your record at the event. New bladers aren't treated as weak, just as unknown.
Do rival matches count toward my rating?
Yes. That's why you always see what a win or a loss would mean for you before you accept, and why you can always say no.
Which matches don't count toward rating?
Matches nobody actually played, like when an opponent withdrew or you sat a round out, and tiebreaker matches.

Leaderboards & stats

What leaderboards are there?
Skill Rating, Blader Score, Matches Won, Matches Judged, Rival Wins, and one for each finish type: Xtreme, Burst, Over and Spin. Find them on the Ranks page, with the short versions on Stats.
How is Blader Score calculated?
It adds up what you do in battle: playing matches, scoring points and winning. The more you compete and the better you do, the higher it climbs. Points given away through penalties don't count for anyone. Your profile shows your own breakdown.
When does my Blader Score update?
Once the event is over, not match by match. When post-event free play closes, about 30 minutes after the final match, everything from that event lands together: your matches, any rival matches you played there, your Skill Rating and the leaderboards. Until then the live bracket shows how the day is going. If an event is cancelled, nothing from it counts.
What happens if an event never finishes?
If an event is left unfinished, it's cancelled. Everyone gets their Stadium Pass back and nothing from it counts.
How do the numbers on an event's standings add up?
Each row shows the matches you played, the matches you won, the points you scored, and what the event added to your score. Tiebreakers and walkovers decide placings but don't count as stats.
Why did an event say it awards no Stadium Tokens?
Some events, like exhibitions or practice nights, run without token rewards. The event page says so before you register. Everything else counts as normal.
When do I get my tokens after an event?
Shortly after the final matches are scored, without anyone pressing anything. If a score looks wrong, flag it to the host during the event, because fixing it afterwards is much harder.
Can I see who's top in my area?
Yes. On the Ranks page you can look at everywhere, your state or a local community. Your community is based on where you actually play, and it follows you if that changes. A local board appears once enough bladers are on it.
What are the finish types?
The four ways a Beyblade X battle ends: Spin, Over, Burst and Xtreme, each worth different points.
Do rival matches count toward my stats?
Yes, the same as tournament matches. The only thing they never touch is a tournament's standings.

Achievements

What are achievements?
Badges for the milestones you hit as a blader: your score, your finishes, the events you've been to, rival wins, leveling up your blades, and a few special feats like beating a much stronger blader or pulling off a comeback. Badges come in tiers from Bronze up to Legend, and once you earn one it's yours for good. Battles from before achievements existed count too.
Where do I see my achievements?
On Home, under Achievements, and on your blader profile. A new badge pops up the next time you open Home. It can take a little while to show after a match.
Can I show off my badges?
Yes. Pin up to three and they show at the top of your profile.
What's a Loss Shield?
A reward for reaching the higher badge tiers. If you lose a rival match while holding one, the shield is used instead of your Rival Match Pass, so you keep your pass. Shields don't expire.
Can I post my achievements to the Stadium Floor?
Yes. When a new badge pops up, tap Post to Stadium Floor. It only posts if you tap it.
What are avatar frames and card backgrounds?
Looks you unlock as your badges climb: a coloured frame around your picture, and backgrounds for your Blader Card and Wrapped. Your blades earn their own frames as they level up.
Do achievements unlock titles?
Some do, and they're meant to be hard to get. Pick the one you want to show under Your Title on your profile, where you'll also see how each one is earned.

Hosting & judging

How do I become a host?
Apply through the host application. Tell us where you're based and which local community you represent, like South Florida. Once you're approved, you get a host page for creating and running your events. Events are capped at 48 bladers for now. That's temporary while we expand our systems to allow for more, so contact us at info@stadium305.com if you expect a higher turnout.
Can I see who's registered for a tournament?
Yes. Tap See who's registered on the tournament page. Only what's already on a public blader profile is shown, never emails, phone numbers or real names.
How do I add a picture to my tournament?
When you create or edit a tournament, tap Upload image and pick a photo or flyer. You can change it any time.
How do I set my tournament's start time?
Pick the time, then AM or PM. The date and time lock the day before the event, so set them early.
Do I need to keep the bracket screen open for rounds to pair?
No. You start round 1 yourself. After that, each round up to round 4 pairs on its own as soon as its last match is scored, whether or not anyone has the bracket open. After round 4 you choose: another round, or end Swiss and start the top cut.
A match from an earlier round was scored wrong. Can I fix it?
Yes, while your event is still going. Open the bracket, tap Fix score on that match, step back with Undo, and score it again. Standings update right away, but rounds already paired stay as they are. In a bracket, you can only fix a match until the next one it feeds has been played. Once the event ends and prizes are worked out, results lock. If something still needs fixing after that, contact us.
Where do I see what I've earned hosting?
At the top of your host page: how many events you've hosted and the tokens you've earned for running them. Tokens from judging or playing show up in your wallet too, but they're counted there, not here.
Can I run a league?
Yes. On your host page, create a league and pick how it runs: just one quarter, or ongoing across quarters. You also choose what the leaderboard ranks by, like Blader Score, total wins, rival wins, or a finish type. Then add your events from the tournament form or the league's own page. Running leagues are listed on the Leaderboard page too. Leagues wrap up on their own when they're done, and the final standings stay up. They're for bragging rights; they don't change any payouts.
How does a host cancel an event?
From the host page, with a reason. Every registered blader gets their Stadium Pass back and is told.
As a judge, how do I find a blader's match quickly?
Use the search box at the top of Current Matches. Type part of a name and tap Judge Match.
The bladers switched sides of the stadium. Can I swap them on the scoring screen?
Yes. Tap Swap players. It only changes what you see, and every point stays with the right blader.
What are the record and Judge name on the live match cards?
Each live match shows both bladers' record at the event so far, and who's judging.
Why does a match say "Judge match · play last"?
A match with a judge or the host in it is listed last, so they can score everyone else's matches first and keep the round moving. It's just an order. Any match can be played at any time.
What time zone are tournament start times in?
The event's own time zone, shown next to the time. If you're somewhere else, you'll see it in your time too.
Can the prize pool change before the tournament starts?
Yes. It grows as bladers register and can shrink if someone doesn't check in. It's final once the bracket is made.
Do I need to check in at an event?
Yes, and it matters. The host checks you in at the venue. When they close check-in, anyone not checked in is taken off the event and gets their pass back, and nobody can be added after that.
What happens if I leave partway through a tournament?
Tell the host and they'll withdraw you. What you already played still counts, your pass isn't returned, and your next opponent isn't held up or punished for it.
When does a tournament actually start?
At its scheduled time, not before. If rival matches are still going, the bracket waits a few minutes for them.
What does a judge do?
Judges score battles: each finish and the winner. Hosts pick judges for their tournament from the bladers there, and for a rival match the challenger picks one. You can't judge your own match.
Can I judge with my phone sideways?
Yes, and it's the easiest way. Turn it sideways and each blader's buttons sit on their own side. You can rotate mid-match without losing anything.
How does judge rank work?
The more matches you judge, the more stars you earn. It doesn't lock anything, but experienced judges are listed first when someone needs one.
I own a venue. Can I host events?
Yes, and we'd love to hear from you. Tap Apply to be a Venue at the bottom of any page and tell us about your space. You don't need an account to apply, and we'll email you either way. Venues earn a share of the entries at every event they hold, and we pay out within 24 to 48 hours of the tournament finishing, the way you prefer to be paid. Events are capped at 48 bladers for now. That's temporary while we expand our systems to allow for more, so contact us at info@stadium305.com if you expect a higher turnout.

Shop & shipping

Are your Beyblades authentic?
Yes, 100%. Everything we sell comes from official distributors. No bootlegs, ever.
What's the difference between BX, UX and CX?
They're the three Beyblade X lines. BX is the original three-part system. UX keeps three parts and gives each blade its own gimmick. CX splits the blade into more pieces so you can customise further. We carry all three.
How do I save my combos?
Go to My Combos on your Blader Profile and tap Add preset. Pick the line, choose each part, and save. You can search by the Takara Tomy or the Hasbro name. Your combos show on your public profile.
What's my active deck?
The three combos you're bringing to a locked-deck event, in the order you'd launch them. No part can appear twice. Set it under My Combos, and change it whenever you like before an event.
What's a locked-deck event?
An event where your deck is checked and locked at check-in, and judges record which combo you launch each battle. The event page says so. You need an active deck to register.
How do my beys level up?
At locked-deck events, the blades in your deck earn XP for the battles they fight. Scoring earns more, and so does facing tougher opponents. XP belongs to the blade, so swapping other parts keeps its level.
Can a rival match count toward my beys' XP?
Yes, if both of you agree to log your combos when the challenge is made. The judge checks both decks first.
What's Combo Stats?
A page showing how blades and builds do against each other, based on battles logged at locked-deck events. Look up any blade or build to see how it performs and what beats it.
What's the meta report?
At the bottom of Combo Stats: what's being played most this quarter, what's rising and what's falling.
Where do I see how my own combos have done?
On your blader profile, under Combo Records, after your first logged battle.
Where do I see the XP my beys earned?
After a locked-deck event or a logged rival match, a Battle results notification shows on Home. Open it to watch your blades take their XP and level up.
Can I use a photo of my own bey?
Yes. Tap the camera on any of your combos and take a photo, or pick one you already have. It shows on your combo, your deck and the judge's screen.
How do blade titles work?
Each blade earns a title as it levels up, from Novice all the way to Grandmaster. Pick one to show next to your name under Your Title on your profile. The higher the rank, the more it stands out.
How do judges log combos at a locked-deck event?
Before each battle, the judge taps which combo each blader is launching, then scores as usual. You launch each of your three combos once before any of them comes back around.
How long does shipping take?
Shipping in the US is free, with no minimum. Orders go out within 1 to 2 business days, and delivery is usually 3 to 5 business days after that.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. Orders going outside the US have added shipping fees.
Can I return an opened Beyblade?
No, sorry. We can't take back opened Beyblades or individual parts. Unopened items in their original packaging can be returned within 30 days.
How do I track my order?
You'll get an email with a tracking link as soon as it ships. It's also under Order History.
Will I get a confirmation when I redeem tokens for an order?
Yes, by email right away. If you don't see it, check spam. Your order is always under Order History either way.
Can I redeem my tokens for a prize at an event?
Yes. Find someone from the Stadium305 team at an event and tell them what you'd like. They'll take the tokens from your balance and hand you the prize right there. It shows under Order History, and you get a receipt by email.
Where can I see everything about an order I placed?
Order History. Tap any order for the full details.
What if my item arrives damaged?
Email info@stadium305.com within 7 days of delivery with photos and your order number, and we'll make it right with a replacement or a full refund.

Still stuck? Email info@stadium305.com or head to Tournaments to find your next event.
