Bey Files #001: Bite Croc 2-60Q — The Ambush Attacker
Bite Croc snaps into the Beyblade X lineup with one of the meanest silhouettes in the BX class. The blade is built around a crocodile-jaw motif — wide, jagged contact points designed to chomp into opponents on every rotation. It's a right-spin Attack type through and through, made for bladers who want to hunt, not survive.
Stats Breakdown
Bite Croc
Attack type, right spin. Jagged jaw-shaped contact points deliver heavy hits.
2-60
Two-sided ratchet at the low 60 height. The low profile helps it get under taller opponents.
Q (Quake)
An attack bit that makes the bey hop up and down as it moves, creating unpredictable strike angles.
BX System
Standard Beyblade X system
Attack
Aggressive offensive type
Strengths
Chaotic offense. The Quake bit's hopping motion makes Bite Croc genuinely hard to read — it can bounce over defensive positioning and slam down on opponents from odd angles. Combined with the low 2-60 ratchet, it lands hits where taller beys can't answer.
Weaknesses
Stamina is the tradeoff. All that hopping burns spin fast, so if Bite Croc doesn't end the battle early, it usually loses the long game to Stamina and Defense types sitting on Needle or Ball bits. The bouncing can also work against it — a bad hop can send it off-balance or toward the pockets.
How It Performs Best
Play it like an ambush predator. Launch hard and aggressive to maximize early contact while the Quake hops are strongest. It shines against Defense types that rely on staying planted, and struggles in patient matchups — so go for the knockout, not the outlast. For bladers who want a more controlled attack out of the Bite Croc blade, swapping to a Flat bit turns it into a more traditional rail attacker.
